Morpeth  & Blyth Karate Clubs

Hello and Welcome to the online home of

Morpeth & Blyth Shotokan Karate Clubs.

The Morpeth Dojo was established by Juli Pops in 1997, we have been based  at the Morpeth Riverside Leisure Centre for over 20 years.

​

The Blyth Dojo was established by the inimitable Sensei Jeff Westgarth in 1980. After 37 extremely successful years, Sensei Westgarth decided to move on for pastures new and Juli Pops is now instructing the classes based at Blyth Sports Centre.

​

Both our clubs are affiliated to the Academy of Shotokan Karate (ASK). Our Chief Instructor is Sensei Dave Hazard, 7th Dan.

Class Times

Morpeth - Mondays & Thursdays

Blyth - Tuesdays & Fridays

Beginners 6.30pm - 7.10pm

Orange Belt + 6.30pm - 7.30pm
